Available DGW Firmware Versions
The firmware pack is a ZIP file that contains the modules and the features to install on your Mediatrix unit when a new release is available.
When unzipping the firmware pack, the content is extracted according to a pre-defined tree architecture. This creates a directory that contains the files required for the Mediatrix unit to properly upgrade its firmware.

IN 12019 | DGW-3084 | Executing a script could delete the Virtual Machines. | VM service |
Executing DeleteAllRow on the Vm table would not only remove the entries but also delete all the VM files. By default, the configuration script contains this command. The DeleteAllRow behavior was modified, therefore the table is cleaned out, but the VM files are untouched. | |||
--- | DGW-2632 | The Running Config Web page is empty after restoring a backup configuration file containing large amounts of Rulesets. | Sbc in Mediatrix 3000 |
When restoring a backup configuration file, the Sbc Web pages are now displayed adequately. | |||
--- | DGW-2569 | Unable to change the "Call agent based on R-URI" route type to the "Static Route" route type. | Sbc |
The user could not modifying the "Call agent based on R-URI" route type of a Routing Ruleset to "Static Route". This has been fixed. | |||
--- | DGW-2568 | A Virtual Machine could not have a disk size greater than 120 Gb. | VM service |
The maximum value of the StorageGb parameter of the CreateVm command was 120 Gb. It is now 4096 Gb. | |||
IN 11915 | DGW-2531 | Transfer fails when using inband ringback. | Sbc Service |
When a call was transferred with inband ringback, the To-tag was changed by the PBX. The default behavior was to use the old To-tag when transferring the call. However, some PBXs would expect the transfer to use the newer To-tag. The "Enable transparent dialog IDs" call agent rule was modified to offer 2 options :
| |||
--- | DGW-2331 | Fixed HTTP headers when a download is triggered by DHCP option 66. | all |
User Agent field was missing from http headers when using option 66 to download a configuration script. | |||
--- | DGW-2272 | Tls negotiation could fail in the SBC when the system was used for some time. | SBC |
The problem with the SSL session caching causing the Tls negociation to fail was fixed. | |||
IN 11370 | DGW-2261 | Certificates cannot be validated when no SNTP server is available. | all |
When no SNTP server is available, certificates cannot be validated, as the default date is set to the year 2000. The default date is now set to 2016/01/01 in the customer specific profile. | |||
--- | DGW-2219 | Normally a second early dialog with a different to-target cannot be sent after a first one is received on the same call ID. | SBC |
In some situations, we want to replace the first early dialog received (i.e.: When a transfer has occurred) by a newer one. The new "Reset dialog by 1xx replies" Ruleset action was added to support these cases. | |||
--- | DGW-2205 | Add 8 Gb RAM support for Mediatrix Sentinel. | all |
Mediatrix Sentinel platform can support 8 Gb of RAM. On every Mediatrix platform:
| |||
IN 11850 | DGW-2073 | Mutual TLS was not working when exporting scripts. | all |
When uploading the script to the HTTPS server, the unit did not set the client information making it impossible for the server to authenticate it. This was corrected both for upload made from the Web page and the CLI. | |||
IN 11821 | DGW-1991 | SIP replies of Endpoint gateways are sometimes sent from the wrong IP port. | SipEp |
When a gateway is configured as an Endpoint Gateway, the replies to SIP requests are sometimes sent from a different port, associated with a different user. Replies are now sent from the correct port. | |||
--- | DGW-1978 | IpRouting - Index of Advanced IP Routes Status is not available via SNMP. | all |
The Index of Advanced IP Routes Status is now available via Snmp. | |||
--- | DGW-1942 | Closing a Wireshark remote capture slows down the Mediatrix unit. | all |
Cli daemon is now properly closed by the Cli service. The Cli daemon properly handles the closure of the Wireshark window. Restarting the Cli service is no longer required as a workaround to the problem. | |||
--- | DGW-1904 | The value of the PrefixBasedRouting parameter included in the configuration script is not used. | Sbc service |
When executing a configuration script, the configuration of the "prefix based routing feature" was lost because the "sbc.addprefixBasedRoutingRule" command was missing. The script was trying to set values for a "RuleId" that had not been created. The "sbc.addprefixBasedRoutingRule" command was added and the "prefix based routing feature" configuration is no longer lost. | |||
--- | DGW-1877 | Local time returned by the Cwmp service is in UTC time format instead of being in local time format. | Cwmp service |
Local time support was added to the Cwmp service so that the time sent to the server always corresponds to the unit's local time instead of the UTC time. | |||
IN 11759 | DGW-1873 | No voice heard when multiple SRTP media streams (audio, video, ...) are available in SDP. | all |
Any non-audio media streams are now properly ignored by the Mediatrix unit. | |||
--- | DGW-1817 | SDP T38 negotiation fails in Force RTP/SRTP scenarios. | Sbc service |
Faxes could not be negotiated if the Force RTP/SRTP parameter was used. The Force RTP/SRTP parameter now only affects media using RTP/SRTP transport. Therefore, SDP T38 negotiations are handled correctly regardless of the Force RTP/SRTP parameter. | |||
--- | DGW-1775 | Accessing the Local Log web page when the Nlm service is stopped causes the unit to close. | all |
Accessing the Local Log web page when the Nlm service is stopped no longer causes the unit to close. The Nlm web pages (syslog, event, and local log) are no longer accessible when the Nlm service is stopped. | |||
--- | DGW-1772 | Generated diagnostic traces are not sent over the network. | all |
When the Syslog Remote Host was empty but the Diagnostic Traces were enabled, the diagnostic traces were generated but not sent over the network. Both Syslog Remote Host and Diagnostic Traces must now be enabled to generate syslogs. If one of them is disabled or empty, diagnostic traces are not computed by the unit. | |||
--- | DGW-1766 | Snmp and Cli word replacement is not working properly. | all |
Snmp and Cli services use word replacement to allow a configuration script generated by an older version of DGW to be used on a newer version of the DGW software. Part of the word replacer was not working properly for table index replacements. This was corrected. | |||
--- | DGW-1612 | Sbc Diagnostic traces are not always available when enabling/disabling a subclass of traces. | Sbc service |
The changes of Sbc Diagnostic traces were not always applied dynamically and the service needed to be restarted to be applied. Now they are applied dynamically in all cases. | |||
IN 11680 | DGW-1566 | Authentication challenges when issuing re-INVITEs on forked calls are not handled properly. | FXS |
The Mediatrix unit did not properly handle authentication challenges in these conditions:
What happened was:
Challenges received for the re-INVITE are now handled. | |||
--- | DGW-1515 | TR-106 network interface configuration does not behave correctly. | Cwmp, TR-106 |
The Cwmp.TR106LanProfileNetworkInterfaceOverride parameter override was not working, the 'default' network was used instead (which is specified by Hoc.ManagementInterface parameter). The value set for the Cwmp.TR106LanProfileNetworkInterfaceOverride parameter is now used. | |||
--- | DGW-1354 | The Eth Links.VirtualSwitch parameter can be enabled on a device without the Virtual Machine service. | Eth |
The Eth service was modified to stop the user from enabling the Eth LInks.VirtualSwitch parameter on devices with no Virtual Machine service. The modification allows however a user to disable the parameter even on devices with no Virtual Machine service. The Virtual Switch field on the Interfaces web page (Network/Interfaces) is now disabled when the Virtual Machine service is not supported. | |||
--- | DGW-1257 | It is possible to import an empty Ruleset file. | Sbc service |
It was possible to import an empty Call Agent or Routing Ruleset to the Sbc Ruleset Editor. Editing the ruleset file led to erratic behavior of the ruleset editor. Now trying to clone or edit this ruleset results in error messages to be shown. | |||
--- | DGW-1245 | Diagnostic Traces are displayed even if the Diagnostic Traces parameter is disabled. | Sbc service |
Diagnostic Traces are no longer displayed if the Diagnostic Traces parameter is disabled. | |||
--- | DGW-1097 | When the Bni service is restarted, the requested IP addresses for the network interfaces using an IPv6 with DHCP connection are not reused. | IPv6 |
The Bni service did not support the requested IP address of the network interface using the IPv6 with DHCP connection. The service now adds the " No_Temporary_Address" option in the "Solicit Request" sent to the DHCP server asking for the last IP address. Therefore, the requested IP address for the network interfaces using an IPv6 with DHCP connection are now reused when the Bni service is restarted. | |||
--- | DGW-315 | Telephony services are not operational in some conditions when the SIP server FQDN is resolved with both IPv6 and IPv4 addresses. | IPv6, TLS |
If the FQDN is resolved with both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, the IPv4 has higher priority over IPv6. If the IPv4 TLS link is down and IPv6 is still up, the SIP call is established, but any other message sent during the call (Re-Invite, Bye) is sent over the IPv4 link first. When the IPv4 link is down, an error message is generated (packet blocked) causing the working IPv6 TLS link to also go down. SIP server FQDN resolved with both IPv6 and IPv4 addresses are now properly handled. |

After downgrading the Dgw software from version 35.657 to 34.627, the "Running Config" page is empty. This is caused by the "Reset dialog by 1xx replies" Ruleset action that was implemented. | |||
--- | DGW-1776 | Stopping the Nlm service stops the Sbc service. | Sbc service |
Running the Sbc service should not require the use of the NLM service. | |||
IN 11426 | DGW-1458 | The AdvancedIpRoutes table is not TR-069 compliant. | all |
The AdvancedIpRoutes table of the IpRouting service must be TR-069 compliant. Furthermore, it must be accessible by the ACS. | |||
