v. 2.0.36.673

1 Firmware Pack

The firmware pack is a ZIP file that contains the modules and the features to install on your Mediatrix unit when a new release is available.

When unzipping the firmware pack, the content is extracted according to a pre-defined tree architecture. This creates a directory that contains the files required for the Mediatrix unit to properly upgrade its firmware.

4 Issues Fixed

Incident #CR #SynopsisApplies To
Description

DGW-4473The Mediatrix Sentinel 400 may restart when targeted by a specific SQL injection attack in SIP.Sentinel 400

An issue in the logging subsystem has been identified and corrected. The SBC logging subsystem no longer triggers the Sentinel to be restarted.

DGW-4237The Mediatrix G7 unit Power LED is not turned on.G7

The Dgw software was corrected to properly light the power LED of the Mediatrix G7 unit.

---DGW-3845The Media tab in the Dgw Web interface is displayed with a cardless Sentinel.Sentinel

When the Sentinel has no cards, the Media tab in the Dgw Web interface is no longer available.

---DGW-3608Modify a custom profile to better support configuration server URLs.all

Modify the profile according to the customer's request.

---DGW-3607PRI cards configuration is not properly converted or restored.all

While upgrading from DGW 2.0.34, or older, to DGW 2.0.35, the PRI cards configuration is not converted and the default values are instead applied.

IN 12130

DGW-3458The watchdog does not restart the unit if the watchdog event is triggered during an SSD access.Sentinel

The watchdog now restarts the unit if the watchdog event is triggered during an SSD access. The watchdog was changed to generate a pulse instead of using a level mode, as configured in the BIOS. When the watchdog event is triggered, a signal is also generated on the PSOK pin.

---DGW-3163The Passive notification for the NetworkInterfacesStatus.DefaultRouter columnar is not functional.all

When the value of the NetworkInterfacesStatus.DefaultRouter columnar will be changed, the unit will notify the Acs in the next "Inform" to update the value.

---DGW-3051Add the support for the detection of a tone with 4 pairs of ON/OFF times.all

The Fxo.FxoForceEndOfCallToneCustomSettingsGroup.FxoFeocToneCustomCadence parameter was modified to support up to 4 pairs of ON/OFF times instead of 3.

---DGW-2569Unable to change the "Call agent based on R-URI" route type to the "Static Route" route type.Sbc

The user could not modifying the "Call agent based on R-URI" route type of a Routing Ruleset to "Static Route". This has been fixed.

IN 11915

DGW-2531Transfer fails when using inband ringback.Sbc Service

When a call was transferred with inband ringback, the To-tag was changed by the PBX. The default behavior was to use the old To-tag when transferring the call. However, some PBXs would expect the transfer to use the newer To-tag. The "Enable transparent dialog IDs" call agent rule was modified to offer 2 options :

  • "Stick to first received To-tag" which is the default behavior
  • "Re-set To-tag with final reply" which always use the newer To-tag.

IN 11370

DGW-2405Unable to automatically execute the configuration scripts.all

When using HTTPS provisioning, the automatic execution of the configuration failed because the time on the unit was not synchronised with the time server. Therefore, when establishing the HTTPS connection, the required certificates were considered invalid. Time synchronisation is now granted more time, therefore the connection to the HTTPS server can be established allowing the automatic execution of the configuration scripts.

IN 11893

DGW-2368SIP calls not supported if the media transport is changed during SDP negotiation.all

Changing the media transport from RTP to SRTP or SRTP to RTP during the SDP negotiation of a SIP call is now allowed until a reliable answer is received, i.e. the 200 Ok of the INVITE or a reliable provisional response with PRACK.

---DGW-2357Importing Ruleset files with names longer than 48 characters causes various issues.Sbc service

It was possible to import Ruleset files with names longer than 48 characters, which was causing the following issues in the Web pages of the Sbc service:

  • Selecting Rulesets in the Configure Call Agent Web pages was impossible. An error message was explaining that the name was out of range.
  • When a Ruleset name was very long, it prevented the drop lists of the Configure Call Agent Web pages to work correctly. The drop list was empty. The valid Rulesets were not shown.

Importing Ruleset files with names longer than 48 characters is now forbidden. Importation is also forbidden if the file extension is incorrect or if the filename contains unauthorized characters.

To address the case where Rulesets with names too long were already present in a unit, a few changes were made to the Web pages:

  • The Rulesets with names too long are no longer displayed in the drop lists in the Configure Call Agent Web pages.
  • In the Rulesets Web page, the Rulesets with names too long cannot be cloned and an error message tells that their name is too long.

IN 11817

DGW-2017Unable to use for the virtual machine one MAC address for the LAN and another MAC address for the WAN.VM

The virtual machine can now use two different MAC addresses, one for the LAN and one for the WAN.

DGW-1625Clock reference does not work on Sentinel units.Sentinel

The clock reference mechanism was updated on the Mediatrix Sentinel units. The new mechanism is common to all supported platforms, and previous mechanisms were removed.

---DGW-1503The ApaSip component does not start when the Domain Name Source is set to "Automatic IPv6".Sentinel

When the Domain Name Source is set to "Automatic IPv6" and the DHCP server IPv6 returns a list of several domains in the dhcp6.domain-search option domain-list, the Hoc service sets this list as a single name in the system. This prevented the internal DHCP server to start correctly, causing the telephony cards (IP based in Sentinel) to fail starting also. The Hoc service now uses the first valid domain name from the list and sets it in the system.
